Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA), is Malawi’s premier accountancy and business management training institution, since its inception in 1980 the college has always believed in the need to approach higher education from the inside-out; that entails putting the student’s experience first and at the center of everything the college does, from your first contact with MCA and your initial selection, you will begin to see how we use our passion for education to design and offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees which are in line with the needs of the industry thereby resulting in MCA graduate being much sought after products on the job market.


The Malawi College of Accountancy invites applications for the 2026/2027 academic year from suitably qualified Individuals for studies in the following programmes:

Minimum Requirements

Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)/O level or its equivalent with at least Six (6) credits which should include English obtained in the past ten years (between 2016 and 2025).
If you are meeting the stated entry requirements, ensure you have a soft copy of your certificate before you start your application.

Application method

  • Applications are strictly online through this portal.
  • Once you have submitted your application, the system will generate an invoice number for you to use when paying the application fee.
  • Using the system generated invoice number, pay a non-refundable application fee of Twenty Thousand Malawi Kwacha (MK20,000.00) for Malawian applicant and USD 30 for International applicants through Centenary Bank or First Capital Bank or FDH Bank or National Bank of Malawi or TNM Mpamba under the NCHE Menu.
Please note that:
  • Individuals with Special Education Needs that meet the minimum entry requirements stated above are encouraged to apply.
  • Any applications submitted without the necessary details will lead to automatic disqualification.

Closing Date

  • The deadline for receiving completed application forms is Friday, 21st August 2026.

Q: Who is eligible to apply?
A: The eligible applicants are as follows.

  1. Candidates with a minimum of 6 credits including English
  2. Candidates who failed to satisfy the minimum admission requirement but successfully improved their grades after re-sitting in a space of not more than three years may use their supplementary statements indicating years they obtained the grades.


Q:How can I pay for my application?
A: Applications can be paid for using the token (invoice number) that is sent to the applicant through SMS. This token is generated once an application has been submitted. The token is unique for every application and should be presented to bank tellers or should be entered on the payment platform if using mobile or internet banking or TNM Mpamba Accepted payment channels:
